There an error in ./configure: when --with-gpm-mouse is specified the ./configure should fail if

checking for Gpm_Repeat in -lgpm... no
configure: WARNING: libgpm is missing or older than 0.18

which is clearly not the case ATM ( see http://nopaste.com/p/aW0XbKvEV ).
