This happens when working in KDE's terminal. On text console, the MC behaves correctly, pasting text using shift+right (possibly from gpm) correctly. 

Affects not only mcedit, but mc too.

I have no idea, which update on my system could cause that, but it happens only with MC, not other tools (but I have no other apps which would require a shift held down. - the ones without shift (e.g. nano, bash) pastes without garbage)"	defect	new	major	Future Releases	mc-core	4.7.0-pre2						no branch
