I can reproduce this with 4.6.1a.

On the first attempt I see an error ""Can't open /dev/fd0: No such
device or address Cannot initialize 'A:'"". Consequent attempts give
me an error ""Cannot overwrite directory ""path/asd-test.a#a"" No such
file or directory(2)"".

MC is unable to copy/move files named asd-test.a#a
The '-' and the '#' are required to reproduce this bug.
