I am using ubuntu 16.04.02 LTS with mc version 4.8.15

when I browse nfs mounted shares this is slow. I have made a strace:

When I browse normal with cd and ls it's not different if I browse normal filesystem or nfs mounted share.

Also when I go with Winscp on the ubuntu server there is no difference between normal filesystem or nfs mounted share.

I have also a Debian Lenny with mc 4.6.2-pre1 and there it is not slow.

Is this a bug in mc or do I have to look somewhere else?
