(With 7z we can work with all 7z-supported archives, i.e. CABs, etc... So if you want to get any improvements considered for inclusion you will have to rewrite your patch. I've written it just a bit earlier before I've downloaded the CVS. I don't exactly remember but deleting wasn't worked in that CVS anyway. Seems like there was just an empty delete function.
