When I open a remote location in a second panel and transfer files, 
mc crashes after completing the first file and needs to be killed. 
This is in openSuse 11.

scp and rsync work fine between the same locations.

Any solution on fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

This actually happens only when downloading from a server. Uploading
has no issues.
