Description

mc 4.8.0 moves configuration files from .mc to .config/mc to be XDG-compliant. However, it seems to be alien on Mac, where it would be expected to have preferences in directory "~/Library/Application? Support/MidnightCommander?" or similar.

Fixed as part of #2636. Now you may compile mc like:

./configure ... --with-homedir="Library/Application Support/MidnightCommander"
